A DAY OF SANKOFA HEALING

Village Academy is an Afrikan centered private school with a multi-disciplinary, multi-level hands-on curriculum that focuses on the core subjects while placing the Afrikan-descended children in the center of the learning experience to learn their true heritage and potential. Our grades are from Kindergarten (4 years old) through the 9th grade. In an effort to bring more awareness to the amazing work being done at Village Academy and Cultural Center in the 757 for our Afrikan-Descended children and their families. Uplifting them to continue on their legacy of our ancestors by taking up space LOUDLY in a society that encourages them to be silent and forget about our Afrikan Traditions, Practices and most importantly SPIRITUALITY!
